There was some discussion on CONCH-L in 1997 about compiling errata and I
volunteered to help, but nothing ever happened. I still have some stuff
submitted at that time, but nothing about American Seashells. My own copy
has also lots of penciled-in corrections, but I never kept track of the
source of those corrections.
There is also the additional issue of misidentification vs. synonymy.
I seem to recall that at the time Gary Rosenberg was involved in the
discussion.
