Dear Alfonso:
I have some data about the Azorean Trochidae that could be helpfull:
Clelandella miliaris, a deep water Trochidae has a non-planktotrophic (np)
type of development;
All Calliostoma reported to the Azores are also np (C. hirondellei, a deep
species) as well as C. conulus, C. laugieri and C. zizyphinum (these last 3
species, however, do not occur in the Azores);
Gibbula magis is a p-developer (planktotrophic type of development, whereas
the small Azorean endemic G. delgadensis is np;
Jujubinus pseudogravinae (another Azorean endemism) is a np-developer, as
well as J. exasperatus and J. striatus (these last 2 species although
reported to the Azores, were misidentified with J. pseudogravinae).
Hope this information be helpfull.
With very best wishes,
Sérgio
