Sounds odd, but being from the central coast for some years past,
I'd consider a call or two to the seafood places in SFO or the
central coast itself. (What a field trip :-) )
I'd expect someone there knows what ship or source depending on the
place.
Other than that, I thought Abalone was registered to catch limits
and that might help find those who fish locally.
Now land locked in East Texas.
