Conch-Lers
Just some personal observations on O. incrassata. I've collected both O.
i. burchorum and O. i. nivea from San Felipe, Baja Norte and El Golfo de
Santa Clara in Sonora, but never an all black specimen. The closest to an
all black specimen I've seen was a shell Charlie Waters collected in El
Golfo that had a black streak 1 1/2 inches wide. The Olives from El Golfo
seem to have more of these black streaks then ones collected from across
the Gulf in San Felipe.
Cheers
