Re: Pleurotamaria reticulata. This now described as 'Bathotomaria'
reticulata. We have a few Jurassic specimens. Will take a colored photo of
this and a couple other related fossil 'Pleurotomaria' and send them to you.
Early 'slit' shells are more varied in outward appearance than modern
ones.Our Devonian and Carboniferous of this order are quite variable
