I just received in some very nice Angaria vicdani, Spondylus regius and Bolma
girgyllus all wrapped in toilet paper. Each looked like the size of a small
soccer ball and it took several minutes to unwrap each one. Very little
damage, but I must admit that the smell from some of the other shells was
very noticeable. All this in a Styrofoam box like a large ice cooler. Don't
know that I would have the patience to wrap them that well. It must have
taken a long time to wrap all those shells with that much toilet paper.
I noticed that some of my suppliers ship their delicate shells in a box with
cotton, inside another box with the soft peanut shaped filler. For what it's
worth. Best wishes,
