The usual reference is Cernohorsky, Monographs of Marine Mollusca, No.
4, 1991. Page 86 color photo plate B, Black & white plate 78, fig 1-9.
Range Baja to S. America on West coast.

Most Mitrinae in Cernohorsky's The Mitridae of the World Part I. The
Subfamily Mitrinae, Indo-Pacific Mollusca Vol 3. No. 17. A number
changes moving species between genera and subgenera, suggenera changed
to genera, etc. were done in the 1991 reference. Most changes are based
on radulae.

Richard Salisbury and I are working on the Mitridae, trying to
accumulate photographs of the animals of as many species as possible.
There are indications that additional genera/subgenera shifts are
desirable based on the animal. We would appreciate any animal photos
available. February issue of IHSN deals with the Mitra (Nebularia)
cucumerina group which have animals that don't match the remainder of
Nebularia. There are similar problems in Mitra (Mitra) subgenera.
