Hello;

According to Burch's Freshwater Snails of North America, Antroselates
spiralis (family Micromelaniidae or Pyrgulidae, (depending on reference),
superfamily Rissoidea, Hydrobioidea, or Truncatelloidea (likewise)) inhabits
springs and streams in caves in Indiana and Kentucky. All other members of
that family apparently live in southern Europe or Asia Minor, and it's just
one of those mysteries how it came to find its way into caves in the center
of the U.S.
