Dear Frank:

Tell me about it, man! I've ran into game officers who did not even know the correct way to measure a fish,
insisting that I release legal sized trout. Phil Poland told me that a marine patrolman forced him to release a
Strombus gallus because he could not tell it from S. gigas! More education in natural history should be a
requirement in these professions.
