Hi Tom,

On our diving trips to the Caribbean, we use alcohol even to preserve our
larger shells until we get home.

Pour alcohol into the aperature of the live shells and then stuff with cotton
and put in a zip lock bag. Put the smaller zip lock bags into larger zip lock
bags perhaps identifying location.
