Hi Rose,

Good idea. Of course, most malacologists are not freelancers, but specialize
in the mollusks of a particular taxonomic group, geographic area, or
stratigraphic age. For instance, the celebrated malacologist Art Weil
specializes in wentletraps and flying pigs, Gary Rosenberg in Cenozoic
Western Atlantic mollusks, Kurt Auffenberg in freshwater snails, etc. etc.
What kind of expert do you need?
