Dear Betty and Ross,
I believe that all the questions that Ross was pondering, would be
answered by publishing the COA's Statement of Operations, Balance Sheet
and Statement of Changes in Net Assets. I believe, but don't hold me to
this, that all non-profit groups and corporations publish these yearly. I
suspect with non-profit status, COA has to provide this type of
information to someone to preseve this status. Several organizations that
I belong to publish these financial statements once a year in the back of
their official publication.
Possibly if one of us out there is an accountant, he or she could share
some light on this.
I agree, one should not be ashamed to ask for this info, our officers
should be willing to provide it, or some reasonable substitute, and
lastly, we all offer a GREAT DEAL OF THANKS to those individuals who
volunteer to keep non-profit ventures and clubs running.

Charlie
