Several weeks ago the question was asked about Cernohorsky's current
activity.  He heard of my interest from Gert Lindner and wrote me
several days ago and said that he is no longer active in Malacology.  He
was surprised that anyone was interested.  He is spending a good amount
of time.  He keeps up his membership in the Malacological Society of
Australia and sees a number of journals.  He has had some medical
problems: pneumothorax (collapsed lung) and had a lung operation to
prevent reoccurance.  He also had 2 heart attacks and had cardiac
surgery, losing 15 KG in weight, but has been keeping fit in the last 4
