Hi everyone,Is there any harm in soaking land snail shells in diluted
bleach (1 part bleach:4 parts water) for as long as an hour or so?

From ferreter:
my experience with bleach and land snails was a mistake i made only once, i
did not have good results as what was a colorful shell came back white. If
you are to use bleach dilute to at most 10-1, 10 parts water to 1 part
bleach. this might take longer but a weaker solution should keep from
losing the perio..
good luck sir.
To all conch-L'ers may you all have happy holidays and a prosperous new
year and a decade of peace
