Phil,

To my knowledge there were no videotapes made of the 1999 programs at
the Louisville Convention. I don't recall any videos being made in
Houston this year either, but I may be wrong about this. If programs
were taped in Orlando in 1998, I didn't know about it and if it was done
it MAY not have been COA doing the taping.

To my knowledge COA has never actually produced programs for use by
shell clubs, with the exception of the program on hosting a COA
Convention. However, COA did attempt to keep a list of available slide
programs (and also speakers and other sorts of programs) independently
produced by various COA members and shell clubs, for the use of shell
clubs. This listkeeping effort was discontinued because of lack of
participation. For more information, you might contact Linda Brunner,
COA Past President (1998-2000) who did work very hard on keeping this
list alive. She MIGHT have more information.

Perhaps, with the advent of digital cameras and computer editing, more
such programs will be produced by interested shellers and, if so, they
might be made available to shell clubs.

Does anyone know what ever happened to the old Jean and Crawford Cate
"Shellectures" available for rental back in the 1970's? They were a lot
of fun and very informative.
