Form in Taxonomy distinguishes one group from other groups by a single
characteristic: ranked below a variety.

Variation in biology means a marked deviation from the typical form or
function.

Du hast recht. Ich bin manchmal schwer zu verstehen.
Aber ich kann es nicht besser erklären.
Variationsbreite innerhalb einer Art, Unterart von einer Population am
gleichen Fundort und Funddatum  bedeudet variability or variation, welches
ungefähr das gleiche bedeuten kann.
Variation oder Form nach der Taxanomie soll im Englischen variety lauten.
Ist das richtig.
Was verstehst Du unter variation in time and space.

sorry I have seen to late that this request is going not only to Eddie Clamp
but also to Conch-L. But when I close this e-mail and look for Eddies
e-mail, the question will going lost. So if anybody has an idea please
