Ross,

Since I am in somewhat the same boat as Geoff, that is I hesitate to call
myself an expert, but feel I can help with the identities of a few families,
how about instead of "expert" we just develop a list of different people
interested in certain families and thus able to help others with
identification. Boy, that sentence got out of control!! I agree with Paul
in that the ability to post a picture for the entire list to have a shot at
is really helpful, but it would also be helpful to have a single individual
willing to revue several images. In that light I would be glad to help with
Neritidae, Ficidae, and Strombidae. I was going to include Xenophoridae but
as I'm always turning to Harry Berryman for help with this family, maybe you
need to apply a bit of pressure in that arena.
