A question from a collegue of mine and I quote: " What was the process by
which the ancient Phoenecians extracted the purple (Indigo) dye from the
"Dye Murex" of the Eastern Mediterranean"?  I am not personally aware of
this murex in particular but I knew someone here would be. Thanks in
