Hello Fellow Conch-Lers,

I have a question regarding two species of Dialidae discussed and
illustrated in "Hawaiian Marine Shells"; Kay,(1979). Specifically I'm
referring to Scaliola bella Adams,1860 & Scaliola gracilis Adams,1862.

After reading the descriptions on page 117, and then comparing the figures I
and K on page 115, I have become confused. It appears to me that either the
descriptions or figures are transposed. Does anyone know the scoop on these
two species?

Thank you in advance.
