This certainly is an educational hobby!  I now know everything there is to
know about "turdus."
 
I have a dumb question-again!  Was the man who came up with the binominal
(?) genus and species names Linne or Linneus?  Hope I spelled that right
without looking it up.
 
Keep up the good work!  I've found out all kinds of words for that
four-letter word I've always used!  Y'all's words are much more
sophisticated.
