Shalom & Salam, Moshe:
Tarantellaxis kuroharai is a member of the subfamily Coralliophilinae
(Neogastropoda, Muricidae). I know only the type specimen and another very
similar from New Caledonia, collected by the MUSORSTOM staff (MNHN, Paris).
It seems a rare, 1.5/2 cm, shell. I am unable to state with certainty
wheter it is a valid species or a teratological, uncoiled form of one of
the spinos-group of species.
Cheers
marco
