Doesn't  ANYONE out there in conchlland have information or knowlegde of
this beast??  The photo in S&S looks like a very short-spired
milneedwardsi- a form which occurs in southern India now and again, not
just in the Red Sea.  I am wondering if these are the same?  The big
question is, aside form the spire, is there a fool-proof way of
distinguishing eduardi from milneedwardsi?
