Well, according to the 2001 issue of the same publication, the current
record is 103.7 mm, the holder is Don Peiser, the shell is from the
Philippines.  133 mm is indeed unheard of, congratulations!  (By the way,
if the shells is from the Philippines, check the apex.  They are known
there to repair those, very ingeniously, with plastic...)

As of 1999's edition of Hutsell and Pisor's Registry of World Record Size
Shells, the record as of that time was 98.8mm, collected c. 1992 by Somnuk
Patamakanthin in the Philippines.

 Speaking of Epitonium.....we are now the proud owner of an Epitonium
 rugosum,  Kuroda & Ito.......its measurement is 133.2mm.
 Is this a record or what???According to the records we have its a monster.
