Folks,
  A few days ago I received an e-mail with an attached database which I
have not yet opened.  This database was sent to scores of recipients.
Does anyone on the list recognize the following name and e-mail address?

Has anyone opened this attachment?  This may be a legitimate offer of a
useful item but I have recently spent a week cleaning up my sysytem after
being hit by a virus and I have become very cautious.
  Thanks for any info on this "molluscan database".

Yes.  I have received two large e-mails from Chorchat one of 2.5 and the
other 1.3Mb during the last few days.  I had to go to my ISP to delete them
as I have configurated my system to only download smallish e-mails.  I
didn't dare open them as they were plainly NOT from ConchL.

Other than that I cannot say much.

Off around the world tomorrow: Singapore, Heron Island, Oz, Tahiti, Bora
Bora and Fiji.
Back in a month!
