In one of the darker recesses of the local museum, I found some critters
pictured at:

http://home.dejazzd.com/jpwolff/JPW/p3.htm

At first glance, I thought they were some sort of Capulus, because they
were in with sponges and sea fans. Thus, I'm pretty sure they're marine,
but not mollusks. They resemble brachiopods because the bottom part has an
opening for a foot or root. Of course, there is no other information.

Any idea?
