Hello Olivier,

Here are my best guesses (a few of them I actually know!):

1. probably Chiton olivaceus (Spengler, 1797) At 10 mm it would be a juvenile.
2. looks like Astralium haematragum Menke, 1829, but it doesn't seem to
have the pink color on the base, and there are a few other small
Astralium species that are similar.
3. Bolma tayloriana E.A.Smith, 1880
4. Cerithium vulgatum (Bruguiere, 1792), slightly immature. At 51 mm,
the only other species it could be is C. alucaster (Brocchi, 1814) but
the markings and sculpture of your specimen, in my opinion, suggest C. vulgatum.
5. Cyclope pellucida (Risso, 1826)
6. probably Diodora graeca (L., 1758)
7 and 8. Trochus niloticus L., 1767
9. I think it may be Haliotis varia L., 1758, but abalones are not my
forte, so I'll be interested to hear from folks who really know these
confusing beasts. This may be a juvenile of one of the several large
Japanese species.
