Dont know if Donn is a member of Conch-L but he is or has been compiling a
book on turrids for some time and may be able to help  .  Long connected to
Smithsonian, where his collection ( or part of it) now resides , he is our
final word on turrids.  His name is Dr. Donn Tippett, He is a member of COA
and is listed...however his e-mail address is donntipp@aol.com.... or was in
the 2000 COA registry.
