All Clench's MARINE species level taxa are "validly" described too (i.e.
"available"  in the sense of the International Code of Zoological
Nomenclature). The vast majority of them are still regarded as "valid" names
for species (i.e. the names, or at least the specific epithets, to be used
for biological species today). Many of his taxa were co-authored by Ruth
Turner (in "Johnsonia"), and C. G. Aguayo (deeper water species from Cuba,
in the "Memorias de La Sociedad Cubana de Historia Natural", and the
"Revista de la Sociedad Malacologica 'Carlos de la Torre' "), both with an
excellent taxonomic track record too.
