Subject: Carrier shell cleaning

A friend trawled a number of carrier shells off Molokai and said that
the last time he cleaned this species with clorox the attachments came
off. What is the better way to clean them. Its been many years since I
cleaned one and forget what I did, but the attachments stayed in place.
