WENZ (1938) writes: Pyrulofusus [Pyrolofusus A. KRAUSE 1885]
ABBOTT (1974) thinks: Pyrolofusus [Pyrulofusus is a mispelling]
PAIN (1984) writes also: Pyrolofusus
VAUGHT (1989) writes: Pyrulofusus [Pyrolofusus auctt., err.]
HIGO, Callomon & GOTO (1999) write again: Pyrolofusus [G2524]
OKUTANI (2000) writes: Pyrulofusus dexius japanicus Habe, Ito & Tanji,
1980, - but
                       Pyrolofusus melonis (Dall, 1891)

I think, one would find even more contradictions.
