Try http://www.manandmollusc.net/ select the site map and then the kid's
zone.  There is a lot of info here and plenty of links to keep a budding
shell collector busy for quite a while.  You might also try the
Conchologists of America web site at http://coa.acnatsci.org/conchnet/
Again, there is a kid's section, plus a ton of information through various
links.  Have fun,
