Hi, Everyone!

From time to time I have seen the comment that museums
usually use "climate control," i.e. control of the
atmosphere that shells are stored in to preserve them in
the best way possible.

What I am wondering, what are the preferable conditions?
I know excess humidity can lead to Byne's, but is a very
low humidity advisable? What I'm getting at is, how could
the average household be controlled, e.g., relative
humidity, temperature, etc., so as to preserve one's
collection.

Thanks,
Linda
