Nancy

I have always considered this species to be one of the most beautiful of
all of the Cypraea.
Look here for more C. spadicea images.

Subject: Cypraea spadicea color variations

Greetings list...

I've always been curious why this different coloration occurs in C.
spadicea... can anyone tell me why? (links to photos) One is bluish-grey
in the margins where the 'normal' shell is creamy white usually.
