land snails keep calcium naturally from plants, water and the same ground
(rich in calcium carbonate, pH > 7,5); some "eat" lime on walls when the
"natural" is not sufficient.
Some snail breeder use egg-shells.
Sorry for the laconicity of the answer, but in this period I have some
problems.
