Buy 2 or 3 GOOD quality drafting pens (Faber Castell TG1 is best,
next is Rotring Rapidograph) and use Rotring drawing ink (insoluble
in formalin and ethanol, so ;labels are immersible for wet
collections). Any decent stationery store should have these.

Nibs:
0.18
0.25
0.35 is too thick to use for writing on specimens

I use a 0.18 for everything, though it is quite fragile and can be a
bit scratchy on paper. But I find itr the best.
