I would very much doubt that this would be legal, as the beasties
disperse by plantic larvae... though I cannot see how their
introduction to the tropical Atlantic would do any harm (they don't
exactly carpet the Pacific reefs), bureaucrats...

Please not the correct spelling: Tridacna.
