First time I used a microwave to open a bivalve, it was an Anodonta cygnea
found in a sewer under Paris.
( Dunno why it lived there, but it was a big big, big boy ).
This was MY microwave and the shell exploded. Waow ! Since that, never used
again for shell cleaning.
