Another source would be a local funeral home.  They use a formalin solution
as "cavity fluid" -- don't get embalming fluid as it has a tint which might
affect the colors on the specimen.  Formaldehyde used to be easy to acquire
at a local drug store but I haven't seen it available for years "over the
counter".
