For shell ecology and a great read I recommend Florida's Fabulous Seashells
by Winston Williams (photos by Pete Carmichael). Available from the Shell
Store and just about any Florida bookstore, at about $18. Wonderful
pictures, accurate information, common and Latin names, and most of the
shells from South Carolina are treated.
