Harry:

The Pulmonata are recognized as an "Informal Group" with a discussion of the
findings of various workers as to whether it is a monophyletic or
polyphyletic group. The division of the Pulmonata into Basommatophora and
Eupulmonata is based on the work of Haszprunar & Huber and the
Systellommatophora are included in the Eupulmonata as proposed by H.
Nordsieck and supported by Tillier et al. This work is too much to try to
capsule into an email.

This is volume 47 (1-2) of Malacologia. Don't you subscribe?

Regards,

dick p.
