Two come to mind - The Ashmore Reef/Torres Straits off NW Australia (2 day
boat trip from Broome) and Zabargad Island in the Red Sea SE of Hurghada.
Both absolutely pristine places and totally uninhabited. Closely followed
by Sipadan Island off the SE coast of Borneo, and the Islands of the Florida
Group in the Solomon Islands. Each was special in the sense that they were
places that had not been significantly impacted by either population or
adverse environmental conditions -- not to mention spectacular
scuba/snorkeling destinations.
