Dear Fabio,

Thank you for your kind remarks and encouragement! I will certainly add an
index page as you suggested, that is a splendid idea.

Warm regards,
Andre

Dear Andre

Congratulations on your nicely done website. I did a quick visit, and was
very impressed. The layout is simple but elegant and the photos great! I
appreciate the collection data provided for each lot, as well as
illustrating several specimens or lots from different localities, to see the
range of variation in each species. One does not have to be a Conus
enthusiast to appreciate the beauty of the interesting and diverse group.
Your website does a great job at showcasing the diversity of cones found in
this area.

Since I am not a Conus expert, however, I would suggest that you add an
index page, where the user can search by species name, instead of
subgenus/genus group. Another suggestion would be to have larger pictures,
as well as photos of the aperture (which can be useful in identifying the
species) - [Please disregard the last sentence: I just checked your site
again, and found out if you click on the small picture, a larger photo of
both dorsal and aperture views appear, with indication of shell size, very
nice!].

Thanks for sharing your website, I am sure it will be an useful resource to
many!

Cheers,
Fabio
