A heads-up for Conch-L trivia hounds:

For a talk I'm preparing, I need to know the highest altitude at which a mollusk has been found living (as opposed to dropped by birds, put there by Satan etc.) as represented by a published record. Anecdotal evidence puts this at around 16,000 feet (5,500 meters or so).
