Hi again,

I received some Ocenebra erinaceus from France. The animal is inside with
its operculum.

I'm trying to take it out from the shell, conserving the operculum, to
mount it again glueing the operculum in some cottom.

The problem is that, after 6 years, the animal is hard like rubber. My
waterpik can't take it out from the shell and it's too inside to be catched
by dentist instruments. I tryed to keep it in water but the animal didn't
decompose.

Question: what should I do?!!!

All hints are welcome.

Cheers,
