A recent visit to friends with young children led to the discovery
that slugs play an important supporting role in the movie Flushed
Away. For the most part, they provide the chorus. The dentition of
the slugs is not particularly molluscan (for a possible exception, see
http://unionid.missouristate.edu/gallery/Black%20sandshell/face.jpg ).
The DVD features a demonstration of how to make slugs out of
plasticine, as well as additional slug songs. It wouldn't be hard to
adapt the demonstration to add a few realistic details to match a
particular limaciform species.

Watching on the DVD would also allow you to pause and look closely at
all the visual gags. For example, the main villain is fond of
nefarious use of liquid nitrogen. The containers all have prominent
warning labels-"Rather Chilly".
