Not to break up a taxonomic lexicographer's symposium or anything, but
wanta hear a molluscan joke? I 'm paraphrasing it from the Bulletin of the
Malacological Society of London (No. 31, August 1998, ed. Stuart E.R.
"Bill" Bailey).

John was invited to a fancy dress costume party. He arrived at the gala
event in ordinary party dress, carrying his girlfriend on his back. The
host exclaimed, "You aren't in fancy dress! You were supposed to be in
costume. And why is that lady on your back?" John said, "I've come as a
snail. This is Michelle!"
