I've just finished cleaning a batch of chinese pectinidae I've received
from a chinese fisherman. They were all trawled in december 2007 from the
Yellow Sea at low depth (-15m).
To my surprise I've ID about 20 Argopecten irradians in this batch. As I'm
a murexfanatic I dont know much about pectinidae but ID has been confirmed
by a specialist. What's the story about this "all american species" going
to new territories.
Happy shelling,

Eddy (www.euromurex.be)
