Linda; You are correct, L.f. barbouri has a white tip/apex and columella.
The opposite color would be more of a pink tip/apex and columella. "peach"
is a color I wouldn't generally think of as an apex color in a Florida Lig.
If the tip/apex and columella are "pink" then the color form would be
castaneus or versicolor. Pete krull
