Hi Carol:

I have had the same problem. I have a Dell Computer (64mg ram and 4.6 g
memory) and an HP printer (only one year old)

I also have been through two scanners .... and cannot get them to work.

The first one was hooked up to my CPU with a SCSI and the computer would neve
recognize it. I thought bought one that hooked up to my printer and then my
printer would not work unless I unhooked the scanner.

I have returned both scanners and was told by Computer City that 75% of
scanners get returned. I have about decided they are not "user" friendly.

I spent hours on the phone with tech support people and they couldn't even
help!!!

So, I am waiting until Christmas when my son-in-law is here (he does computer
support for over 200 large churches). and he is going to get the problem.

I have sweated buckets over this stuff. I want to scan pictures into our
newsletter.

Bobbi.
