It may be worth noting that these ideas didn't fly too well when
posted on the Mollusca list a few years back.  As far as I know, no
one other than the person proposing the model has found it very
convincing.  On the other hand, it is true that several traditional
groupings in the mollusks are receiving new scrutiny.
